Abby Hollis
President
Abby is a senior accounting major originally from Gardendale, AL. She is currently enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's Program at UAB, pursuing her Master of Accounting. At UAB, Abby is a member of the Honors College, and she works in the Collat School of Business as an accounting and financial literacy tutor. In the spring of 2026, Abby will be interning with EY as a tax intern in their Birmingham office. This academic year will be her second term as President, and she has previously served as the Vice President of Activities and Executive Assistant. After graduating with both degrees in the spring of 2026, she plans to obtain her CPA license and work in public accounting. Outside of class, Abby loves to shop and travel, as well as spend time with her family, friends, and two cats.
Moises Noriega Aldave
Vice President of Activities
Moises is originally from Lima, Peru. He came to the U.S. in 2021 under the INTO UAB pathway program to pursue a Bachelor's degree. He is a senior majoring in accounting and is also enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's program to obtain his Master of Accounting degree. Currently, he is studying to get his CPA license and plans to work in public accounting in the future. He completed a tax internship with DLHC and is currently working as a Building Manager at the UAB Hill Student Center. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
Peter Haywood
Vice President of Operations
Peter is an undergraduate accounting student originally from Helena, AL. He has served as an Executive Assistant, Treasurer, and now serves us as Vice President of Operations. He has also served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for the Green and Gold Fund, UAB's student-managed investment fund. Peter interned at Carr, Riggs and Ingram as an admin intern in the spring of 2024 and as an audit intern in the summer of 2024. In the spring of 2025, Peter interned with DLHC as a tax intern. Upon graduation, Peter plans to pursue his Master of Accounting degree and his CPA license, and then begin his career in public accounting. In his free time, Peter enjoys volunteering, spending time with friends and family, and the occasional trip to Disney World.
